Lately, some publishers have been using cheaper grade paper and even brand new releases have darker pages than I like and tans faster than I like. NEW – This may or may not be a new release, but it is a new book, never read. It may have some very light shelf wear or faint page tanning due to shelf sitting depending on its age. LIKE NEW – This book looks New, the spine is straight and tight, possible faint spine creases, possible faint page tanning. This book may be gently read. VERY GOOD – This book has been previously read, there might be faint spine creases and/or small corner crease/wear, might have minimal marking or store sticker, or page tanning. GOOD & GOOD – Spine creases, slight tilt, possible corner wear, creases. Looks read a few times, but still tight and clean. There could be some page tanning. AVERAGE USED – This books is used, with spine creasing, a scuff or two, page tanning…all that happens when a book is used. It may have some spine cracking but all pages are tight. It is in good reading condition.
